Why are some of my lights dimmer than others?
This is referred to as voltage drop. This occurs when the landscape lights are placed too far relative to the transformer. It is recommended that you use a magnetic transformer for landscape low-volatge systems, however, when the circuits run extra long (50+ feet) voltage drop can still occur. In order to fix this problem, you can shorten the runs or get a transformer with a boost tap that will provide more voltage down the line. Sometimes using a lower gauge wire might also help the situation. We recommend you use at least 10-gauge landscape wire.
